The debut of Giulia and Stelvio MY22 "ESTREMA" is another step in the brand's sporty DNA. ESTREMA, the first special edition to be sold worldwide, is the perfect combination of sophisticated technical solutions and unique driving pleasure.
Alfa Romeo's new line strategy is now based on simplicity: the base trims Super and Ti have well-defined specifications to meet the needs of the most demanding customers, while two black and dark finishes Sprint and Veloce underline the brand's sporty character. ESTREMA is at the top of the range, hinting at a supersport version of the Quadrifoglio.
The model is designed for customers often referred to as "car purists" who constantly seek the thrill of driving and create the perfect "symbiosis" with them. He is a sophisticated buyer who pays less attention to the muscular silhouette of the car, and pays attention to the technical solutions that provide balance and exceptional driving dynamics. The new active suspension is offered as standard: thanks to its adaptability to conditions and driving style, it enhances driving comfort without compromising the driving pleasure offered by a sports car.
The Alfa Active Suspension control system manages the suspension and dampers, constantly working with CDC (Chassis Domain Control) and DNA, calibrating its actions in accordance with the selected mode. Also standard on the ESTREMA model is a mechanical self-locking differential, which guarantees high stability and controllability in all grip conditions, and distributes torque and traction also when exiting corners and at high speeds and accelerations.
Both outside and inside, the sporty character of the car comes to the fore, which is due, among other things, to the extensive use of carbon fiber. On the outside, the mirror housings are made of carbon fiber, and there is a "trilobo" in the front of the hood. Dark colors have a special "ESTREMA" badge on the bumper, 19" wheels for the Giulia and 21" for the Stelvio and brake calipers. The same strong sporting character can be seen in the carbon fiber interior with Alcantara® seats, a unique material that combines aesthetics and functionality.
Contrasting red stitching and leather inserts emphasize the exclusivity and sportiness of the instrument panel, seats and steering wheel. Giulia and Stelvio "ESTREMA" are equipped with a 2.0 Turbo petrol engine with 280 hp. or a 210 hp 2.2 Turbo diesel engine, both paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Q4 all-wheel drive. All this is complemented by a 14-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
