The MINI Cooper S Convertible Resolute Edition hit dealerships in March 2022 and has since taken to the boulevards and back roads.
Premium Convertible
The open four-seater from the British premium brand is currently the world's only premium convertible in the subcompact segment. His appearance in the Resolute Edition is exclusive and unique. The paintwork, light alloy wheels, interior design and equipment make this version the epitome of traditional style and typical MINI outdoor driving pleasure. The efficient drive technology of the MINI Cooper S Convertible Resolute Edition ensures particularly dynamic encounters with wind and sun. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with 131 kW (178 hp) and MINI TwinPower Turbo technology accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds.
The MINI Cooper S Convertible Edition thus embodies the classic kart driving experience in its most modern form. In line with this, the appearance of the Edition also recalls the brand's typical style elements in a completely new form. The Rebel Green paint finish gives the vehicle a purely sporty character. However, many elements of the traditional style are retained not in the original chrome finish, but in the exclusive Resolute Bronze color. These include headlight surrounds, kidney grilles and taillights, side fender flares, door handles and tailgate handle, and air intakes in the front bumper and fuel filler flap.
They are matched with the brand logo, model badges, interior trim, grille bar and Piano Black tailpipes. The electric soft top, which can also be activated at speeds up to 30 km/h, and the Edition exterior mirrors are finished in black. In the MINI Cooper S Convertible Resolute Edition, only the shoulder strip is finished in classic chrome.
Sports character
The sporty character of the four-seater convertible is also emphasized by characteristic stripes on the hood. They are decorated with a pattern of parallel lines with a gradient from light to dark gold and the inscription "RESOLUTE". 18-inch Pulse Spoke Black alloy wheels complete the series' distinctive look. 17" Tentacle Spoke Black alloy wheels are also available upon request.
The entrance to the interior of the Edition model is adorned with treadplates with "RESOLUTE" lettering. There, passengers sit on sports seats upholstered in exclusive fabric and eco-leather in Black Pearl Light Checkered. The color of the upholstery is in perfect harmony with the Rebel Green paint finish and the black and gold exterior details. MINI Yours leather upholstery in Carbon Black is also available upon request.
The exclusive style of the interior is further enhanced by interior surfaces specially designed for the Resolute Edition. Parallel curved lines in a light golden hue on a black background create a noble striped pattern. Thus, they refer to the structure of the bonnet stripes. Special stylistic features are emphasized by the lighting package, whose LED modules provide precise illumination of the interior, as well as ambient lighting, which is also included in this version.
Another highlight of the interior of the MINI Cooper S Convertible Resolute Edition is the Nappa leather sports steering wheel. It features a discreet "RESOLUTE" badge on the forearm. The latest generation of the MINI operating system offers optimized options for quick and intuitive control of vehicle functions, audio, communications, navigation and applications. On the other hand, the newly designed equipment packages make it possible to meet individual wishes with regard to driver assistance systems and connectivity very precisely.
