RAM-SEMA-Show-2022

In 2009, the Ram Truck brand was introduced as an independent branch focused on meeting the requirements of truck buyers and providing vehicles of exemplary quality. At this year's SEMA 2022 show in Las Vegas, the brand unveiled two eye-catching new concept vehicles equipped with a range of innovative Mopar parts and accessories for active customers.

Ram 1500 TRX Gold Shot Concept

The eye-catching Ram 1500 TRX Gold Shot concept transforms a stock truck predator into a custom-built, high-performance toy transporter for motocross enthusiasts.

Based on the 702hp Frame 1500 TRX concept, the Satin Bitter Yellow/Satin Black color combination features a massive TRX side graphic and delivers proven speed and durability to tackle off-road terrain in record time.

The car was fitted with custom-designed 18" x 9.5" Black Rhino wheels, complemented by 37" BFGoodrich tires. Easy access to two transportable bikes is provided by a Mopar step that lowers for easy access and retracts into transport position with a light push.

Behind the cockpit on the RamBar accessory rack is a pair of TYRI 14-inch rectangular LED headlights that produce an extremely bright 4,300 lumens of light. The surface of the cargo area is protected by Mopar's black textured finish.

The front and rear underbody of the TRX Gold Shot Concept is protected by metal skid plates with laser-etched Mopar wording. Using the front skid plate helps increase the rake angle by 2.3 degrees to 32.5 degrees. Mopar's protective strips also protect the side sills from any damage.

Right below the rear bumper are a pair of 5-inch black Mopar tailpipes giving the car a sporty look.

The upscale interior of the TRX Gold Shot Concept is derived from the award-winning production Ram 1500 TRX with a center console, instrument cluster, steering wheel with open paddles and a floor-mounted shifter on the center console. Gold stitching and Alaska Gold accents throughout the cabin complement the striking exterior.

Aggressive sports seats trimmed in Capri leather, and the interior is perforated Alcantara suede. Gold leather trim creates a bold color contrast with the black front and rear seats. Both front seats feature an embroidered TRX logo on the top of the backrest and a Mopar logo on the outer cushions.

The Ram 1500 Tradesman vinyl flooring makes cleaning the inside quick and easy.

Ram 1500 Backcountry X Concept

For truck owners who are serious about balancing work and play, the Ram 1500 Backcountry X concept is based on the unique RamBox Load Management System with custom-designed RamPack and RamRack components that greatly increase secure storage space without sacrificing pickup truck functionality.

Designed to fit elegantly and comprehensively on both sides of the cargo area, the RamPack Concept Container, located above the standard RamBox on both sides, opens through a single carbon fiber hatch panel. Thanks to the RamPack system, valuable luggage space is increased by more than 68%. Special rectangular shelves run the entire length of the large compartments, and a pair of mounting loops ensure secure installation. Mopar RamBox vertical dividers also help keep your equipment organized.

The RamRack Custom Rack for the Ram 1500 Backcountry X is a continuation of the telescopic rack system design study first introduced on the Ram 1500 Outdoorsman at the 2021 SEMA show. The RamRack uses additional Thule cross rails above the rack to mount equipment and accessories. There are 2-inch TYRI LED lights in each corner of the RamRack's trunk, and a center-top brake light adds a third brake light to the rear cross member.

On the inside of the tailgate is a custom-built Mopar RamGate workbench with various conversion tables and a protractor, as well as a range of Rockler carpentry tools. The cargo area floor is protected by Mopar's durable spray varnish.

The Ram 1500 Backcountry X Concept is fitted with a 2-inch taller Mopar kit with FOX shocks, matte black 20-by-9 Fuel Heater wheels and 37-inch BFGoodrich tires. The two-tone Matte Iced Silver Titanium and Matte Black exterior features contrasting orange body stripes and hood accents, tow hooks (front and rear) and grille emblem.

At the front, the Mopar tubular cover is equipped with four 5-inch Mopar LED off-road lights that provide much better front lighting.

Black painted Mopar tubular steps on both side rails make it easy to get in and out of the elevated cab. At the rear, there is a step with an articulated arm that drops down for easy access to the cargo area and retracts back into storage position.

Inside, we have neutral green bucket seats with contrasting orange stitching, also found throughout the cabin: on the steering wheel, door panels and armrests. Contrasting orange anodized vent controls also provide a custom look.

The front bucket seats are embroidered with Backcountry X and Mopar logos. Between the front seats, a special folding tabletop with an integrated measuring system protrudes from the padded center armrest, providing additional 12'' by 14'' workspace.

The unique handles of the inner and outer A-pillars are covered in stylish black Gode-Tex vinyl. Mopar all-weather floor mats provide floor protection, while the concept RamVac on-board vacuum cleaner is located under the second row sofa, making it easy to clean up the cabin space after returning from the road or workplace.
