A wide range of options for personalizing the appearance of the car includes exclusive paintwork, selected materials, mostly handmade, and high-quality decorative elements in the interior. The G-class customization program called "G manufaktur" has been running successfully for several years. It includes a special selection of materials and shades specially adapted to the vehicle's architecture. With the introduction of the MANUFAKTUR label, Mercedes-Benz is also offering personalization programs for other model ranges: the CLS, the AMG GT 4-door Coupé, the long-wheelbase S-Class and the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. .

Buying a new car means that you have to make many decisions at the same time, because the car is part of everyday life and an expression of the buyer's lifestyle. In addition to specifying the engine type, color and equipment preference, Mercedes-Benz customers can choose from a variety of options that allow them to tailor their dream car to their needs. For those looking for something even more unique in terms of paint, upholstery and interior design, Mercedes-Benz now offers additional customization options for selected model ranges with the new MANUFAKTUR program. It combines luxurious craftsmanship and the highest quality materials with a charming design.

Aesthetic color concepts, selected high-quality materials and exclusive decorations await Mercedes-Benz customers. Craftsmanship is visible and tangible - in embroidery, leather accessories and carefully selected elements. Attention to detail is shown, in particular, by the Mercedes-Benz S-Class with a long wheelbase and the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class.

One of the distinguishing features of the car is its color. The MANUFAKTUR range offers a range of specialty lacquers, both matt and metallic, as well as many non-metallic shades. Some of them refer to the history of Mercedes-Benz, for example, the MANUFAKTUR gray silicone uniform was in the color scheme until the early 1960s and as a special color adorned, among other things. the legendary 300 SL Gull Wing. MANUFAKTUR graphite metallic and MANUFAKTUR olive metallic were options in the 1980s, and vintage blue MANUFAKTUR uni was a popular choice among E-Class (W 123) and S-Class (W 126) buyers. The matte trend is reflected in finishes such as MANUFAKTUR magno cashmere white and MANUFAKTUR magno Kalahari gold or MANUFAKTUR magno sports black night.

The atmosphere in the cabin is created by delicate high-quality nappa leather with unusual, contrasting color schemes. Mercedes-Benz is returning to the MANUFAKTUR white/black color combination and the special MANUFAKTUR pastel yellow/black color combination that was available for the S-Class until 2012. Combination of black leather with other colors such as hazelnut, brown or navy and diamond stitching. Depending on the model and the requirements of the buyer, the package includes, for example, additional pillows with an embroidered logo and special floor mats. In the case of the S-Class, the logos can be embroidered in gold or platinum to add a luxurious aura.

The two-tone MANUFAKTUR handcrafted leather steering wheel, as well as the door panel centres, the armrest and the lower instrument panel are also upholstered in fine nappa leather. Another eye-catching detail, available upon request, is the MANUFAKTUR headlining in nappa leather with double Maybach diamond stitching. Consists of a back panel in a contrasting color with diamond stitching and a middle panel also in a contrasting color but without quilting. The harmonious design concept is complemented by high-quality, thick floor mats made from selected nappa leather. Depending on the line and package chosen, they are embroidered with the Mercedes star, Maybach logo or Mercedes-AMG lettering.

The MANUFAKTUR ambient lighting with animated projection is a true eye magnet and at the same time highlights the brand of the vehicle. When the doors are open, the animated images of the Mercedes-Benz or Mercedes-Maybach effectively illuminate the area to the side of the vehicle. A special light show is possible thanks to four LCD projectors installed in the front and rear doors; they turn off after 10 minutes.

For the CLS, the MANUFAKTUR program offers customers a choice of additional paint finishes (including MANUFAKTUR Cote d'Azur Light Blue Metallic) as well as attractive leather upholstery options. Different shades are also reserved for the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé, including matt MANUFAKTUR orange. In addition, buyers can choose from a range of special leather upholstery tones, a two-tone leather steering wheel and door sill sticker sets in three different colors.

In the coming years, the MANUFAKTUR program will be extended to other product lines. In the future, selected sub-brands such as Mercedes-AMG and Mercedes-EQ will also be available with MANUFAKTUR paint and equipment packages. The "MANUFAKTUR" label replaces the existing personalization portfolio and the "designo" label.
