Mercedes-AMG A 45 and CLA 45 Edition 55
Mercedes-AMG is expanding its lineup of special Edition 55 models for AMG's 55th anniversary with compact high-performance variants: the A 45 4MATIC and A 45 S 4MATIC, as well as the CLA 45 4MATIC and CLA 45 S 4MATIC (CLA available as coupe and shooting break). Their unique appearance is underscored by sophisticated exterior paint finishes such as Cosmos Black Metallic or Digital White Metallic, as well as decals with the traditional AMG badge with a gradient effect and 19-inch AMG forged wheels. Anniversary versions of 45 sports models can be ordered until December 2022.

The list of equipment for the Edition 55 models includes, among other things, the AMG Aerodynamics package. It consists of a front bumper with an enlarged spoiler (splitter) and additional air ducts, an AMG rear spoiler, deflectors on simulated air ducts in the rear bumper and diffuser blades painted in high-gloss black. Package components developed in the wind tunnel are used to improve handling characteristics at high speeds.
The dynamic appearance of the Edition 55 models is also underscored by the AMG Night and AMG Night 2 packages, such as the chrome tailpipe trims. In addition, the package includes heat-insulating tinted glass. The louvres of the characteristic AMG kidney grille in black chrome complete the exclusive look, as do matching badges on the trunk lid and fenders in Glossy Black.
Special Edition 55 variants
Special "Edition 55" variants also come in two metallic colors: Cosmic Black or Digital White, combined with characteristic decals on both sides of the body - with the classic AMG badge and gradient effect. The body color is matched by 19" AMG forged twin-spoke wheels painted in Titanium Grey, with high-gloss rims and center cap with "Edition 55" details. Attention to detail is underscored by the fuel cap with AMG lettering and silver chrome trim.
The interior is defined by the contrast of black and red. The AMG Performance seats are upholstered in two-tone leather in classic red and black, while the AMG Performance DINAMICA microfibre steering wheel with black ring is adorned with the Edition 55 badge. A special design is also given to the AMG trim elements in dark brushed aluminum in the "Edition 55" style with black/red accents. and the AMG logo. AMG door sill finishers with illuminated red AMG lettering and black AMG floor mats made of high-quality velor with red stitching and red thread embroidered "Edition 55" lettering emphasize the exclusiveness of the special edition at the bottom.
Customers also get a special AMG Vehicle Cover in elegant black with a silver AMG logo on the top of the windshield. It was intended for indoor use. With a breathable, tear-resistant synthetic fiber outer shell and an anti-static flannel inner layer, the cover protects your parked car from dust and scratches.
Exclusive 45 Series compacts can be ordered as special Edition 55 models for an additional fee of $52,021. (4 c.u. = 1 USD) (45 S 4MATIC+ options) or 58,892 c.u. (4 c.u. = 1 USD) (options 45 4MATIC +).
