Mitsubishi today unveiled the facelifted ECLIPSE CROSS, an off-road vehicle featuring a sleek, sporty look, excellent handling and enhanced driving comfort. This model will be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain (PHEV) in Europe to meet the diverse needs of customers looking for a greener alternative.

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV will be the brand's technology flagship in Europe, using a unique plug-in hybrid drive system based on electric vehicle architecture, a dual-motor all-wheel drive system and proprietary Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC). Since its launch in late 2017, 66,390 Eclipse Cross units have been sold in Europe (MME area - 33 markets, MME aggregate data as of August 2020).
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV will be launched sequentially from early spring 2021 in select European markets based on local demand and capacity. The Russian debut of this model is currently planned - MMC Car Poland will announce the details in the near future.

The redesigned Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS features significant stylistic improvements to give it the elegance and look of a sport utility vehicle. Never before has a Mitsubishi vehicle been as clearly designed for the future as the ECLIPSE CROSS. The result is a car that looks elegant, stable, impressive and unique.
The front end is an evolution of Mitsubishi's signature Dynamic Shield design concept, which expresses strength and safety. A new front bumper and updated lighting system complete the concept, emphasizing the boldness and dynamism of the exterior.
The elegance of the silhouette continues to the rear, with a redesigned windshield and tailgate that express a more refined style, improving rear visibility while also emphasizing a distinctive and contemporary style. Mitsubishi's unique ECLIPSE CROSS taillights, extending upwards and towards the vehicle's axle, emphasize its distinctive appearance, giving the rear of the vehicle optical stability and width.
