The front end is an evolution of Mitsubishi's signature Dynamic Shield design concept, which expresses strength and safety. A new front bumper and updated lighting system complete the concept, emphasizing the boldness and dynamism of the exterior.
The elegance of the silhouette continues to the rear, with a redesigned windshield and tailgate that express a more refined style, improving rear visibility while also emphasizing a distinctive and contemporary style. Mitsubishi's unique ECLIPSE CROSS taillights, extending upwards and towards the vehicle's axle, emphasize its distinctive appearance, giving the rear of the vehicle optical stability and width. The new tailgate has a sharp hexagonal shape, reminiscent of the Mitsubishi tailgate spare tire shape, combining slim and elegant styling with the ruggedness and reliability expected of an SUV.
Inside, we see new black interior trim with silver accents and light gray leather seats that create a more refined ambience in the cabin. The door trim is matched to the color of the seat upholstery, providing a high-quality and sporty interior space. The interior of the Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS has been an exciting and comfortable place to spend time from the very beginning, and the changes made make it even more enjoyable and aesthetically elevate it to a higher level.
A new 8-inch Smartphone Connected Audio (SDA) display is standard, providing the driver with better visibility and easier control. The screen has been moved towards the driver and front passenger for ease of operation, while volume and settings controls have been added to simplify basic settings. The touchpad has been removed to free up more space on the center console.
Designed with ecology and dynamics in mind
The latest modification of the PHEV transmission optimizes energy efficiency and ensures a smooth ride. Following the success of the Mitsubishi OUTLANDER PHEV, the world's best-selling plug-in hybrid vehicle, the new Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS uses the same twin-engine 4WD PHEV system with modifications specific to the ECLIPSE CROSS chassis geometry and loads. The unique PHEV architecture consists of one powerful front and one rear electric motor, a high-capacity traction battery and a 2.4L MIVEC engine with a single speed planetary gearbox, resulting in fast and quiet yet very dynamic acceleration. electric vehicles.
On the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross PHEV, the system automatically selects one of three driving modes according to different conditions: EV (electric drive), Series Hybrid (serial hybrid drive) or Parallel Hybrid (parallel hybrid drive). The traction battery can also be used as a reliable source of electricity for outdoor recreation or in emergencies, as it provides up to 1500 watts of power from the on-board socket. When fully charged and filled with fuel, a car can power a typical household for up to 10 days4 through a car-to-home system.
Inspiring and trusting driving pleasure
The MITSUBISHI MOTORS S-AWC system provides stable handling and precise control, giving drivers the confidence to handle any road conditions with ease. MacPherson front strut springs and multi-link rear suspension have been tuned to match the vehicle's performance. Equipped with larger rear shock absorbers, the ECLIPSE CROSS PHEV takes full advantage of the S-AWC system and provides a perfect driving experience.
Combining off-road versatility with bold, distinctive design, the Mitsubishi ECLIPSE CROSS has won numerous awards around the world, including the 2018 Good Design Award and the 2019 RJC Car of the Year.
