New Toyota Hilux - better driving performance and a new version of Invincible
The new Hilux combines even more attractive styling with a dynamic new 2.8 engine. The car has also undergone changes in terms of comfort and driving quality both on and off road. The premium-equipped new Invincible features custom-designed styling and premium equipment that further enhances the appeal of this beloved pickup truck to drivers around the world. Hilux has built its reputation on exceptional off-road capability as well as quality, durability and reliability, which are reflected in the new model. All versions of the body (single, one and a half and double cab) with 4×4 drive have a load capacity of up to 1 ton and can tow a trailer weighing up to 3.5 tons.
Since the debut of the Toyota Hilux in 1968, the Hilux has proven time and time again to be unrivaled in terms of off-road capability and ruggedness in harsh environments. Suffice it to mention such achievements as reaching the North Pole, climbing a volcano in Iceland or winning the Dakar Rally in 2019. The Hilux is also used regularly on expeditions to Antarctica.
New styling solutions and equipment elements
The front of the Hilux has been completely redesigned. He received a new three-dimensional grille and a modified front bumper. Now the car looks even more impressive, associating with the durability and off-road capabilities of a powerful pickup truck.
The Hilux's energetic appearance is underscored by newly developed optional LED lights front and rear, new 18-inch black high-gloss alloy wheels and three new metallic body colors - Emotional Red II, Dark Blue and Oxide Bronze.
The interior has been updated with a new dashboard design and a new 8-inch touchscreen on the center console with mechanical buttons for easy control while driving. The new multimedia system is faster and includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration.
The extensive list of equipment includes but is not limited to a smart key, push button start, sat nav, automatic air conditioning, front and rear parking sensors, and a JBL premium audio system with CLARi-Fi technology, 9 speakers and an 8-channel 800W amplifier. with electric trunk liner, trunk snorkel and side steps.
New engine 2.8
The new range of Hilux engines has been expanded with a new, more powerful 204 hp* diesel engine with very good performance. It delivers 500 Nm* of torque and accelerates the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 10 seconds* (2.8 seconds faster than the current 2.4L engine). The 2.8-litre Hilux has an average fuel consumption of 7.8 l/100 km* and CO2 emissions of 204 g/km* (NEDC).
The new 2.8 engine is mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission and will be available in 1.5 and a half cab versions.
Driving performance
The goal of the Hilux facelift team was to improve driving comfort on paved roads while maintaining the car's legendary off-road capability. The Hilux is one of the last true off-road vehicles on the market that, thanks to its strong and durable frame construction, can handle the enormous loads and torsional forces of off-road driving.
The comfort and handling of the new Hilux has been improved with changes to the suspension and steering. The front and rear springs and shock absorbers have been improved, making the car's handling smoother and the passengers less noticeably overcome bumps and bumps.
The huge off-road capability of the Hilux has been enhanced by an electronic system that acts as an LSD limited slip differential (4×2 version). Idle speed reduced from 850 to 680 rpm. Accelerator pedal response and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) performance have also been improved. The car also received a new steering angle control system during a maneuver.

The new version of the Invincible package, available for the double cab Hilux, is designed for leisure and for both work and pleasure drivers who expect a versatile vehicle with a high level of comfort and equipment, as well as significant off-road capability and greater practicality. The Hilux Invincible is more stylistically refined and comes standard with a wealth of equipment.
Items reserved for this version are a specially designed front grille and bumper, skid plate, fender flares and special handles, wheels and tailgate details.
In the interior, the Invincible version is distinguished by the appearance of the instrument panel, black metallic and black chrome accents, and even a special design of the smart key. In the double cab version, the front and rear doors feature translucent blue lighting and perforated leather seats.
