The new Grandland GSe is powered by the team 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 147 kW/200 hp and two electric motors - one for each axle. These engines develop 81.2 kW/110 hp. front and 83 kW/113 hp behind respectively. The total power of this system is up to 221 kW/300 hp. (fuel consumption according to WLTP: 1.2 l/100 km, CO2 emissions 28-27 g/km; weighted, combined), with an impressive maximum torque of up to 520 Nm.

The plug-in hybrid powertrain provides permanent electric all-wheel drive, optimized traction and best-in-class agility. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 6.1 seconds and a top speed of 235 km/h. (135 km/h in electric mode). Thanks to its lithium-ion battery, the Grandland GSe can travel up to 63 kilometers (WLTP) without local emissions (WLTP electric range in urban areas (EAER: 80-81 km).

As is the case with both versions of the Astra GSe, the dynamic character of the Opel Grandland GSe and driving pleasure are largely due to the special tuning of the suspension and steering. Opel's sportiest SUV features McPherson struts up front and a multi-link rear axle with stiffer springs and high-tech dampers. KONI FSD (Frequency Selective Damping), i.e. variable damping characteristics that allow you to combine good driving performance with comfort. As a result, the Grandland GSe responds quickly and predictably to every driver input, maintaining Opel-like stability under braking and cornering, even at high motorway speeds.
