Uncompromising performance and power from the race track to the road - with a maximum torque of 640 hp. and 565 Nm Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo Omologata (STO) will provide an unforgettable driving experience. Only on the first day after the premiere of the new model, 7 customers from Poland ordered the car.
Lamborghini Huracan STO - race track pedigree
The Lamborghini Huracàn STO builds on the Italian engineers behind the Huracàn Super Trofeo EVO and Huracàn GT3 EVO models, which have won the famous 24 Hours of Daytona three years in a row.
“The Huracan STO is a beautifully balanced, lightweight and aerodynamic sports car,” describes Lamborghini Chief Engineer Maurizio Reggiani. “Advanced technical solutions and expertise gained from the Super Trofeo and GT3 programs have allowed us to improve the design of the Huracan STO. Thanks to this, the driver will experience the full feeling of racing in a car approved for everyday driving on public roads.
Minimum air resistance
Huracan STO designers, working on the silhouette of the car, introduced a set of innovative solutions to achieve unique aerodynamic parameters. This was achieved, among other things, through the introduction of a proprietary “reverse” - a one-piece, lightweight component that flows smoothly from the wings, through the front bumper to the hood.
Lamborghini engineers also introduced a new rear bumper similar to the Super Trofeo EVO to increase downforce. The design of the carbon fiber element was created using technology used in spaceflight. The shape of the bumper also made it possible to shorten the front of the car, which had a positive effect on the aerodynamics of the Huracan STO.
The exterior panels of the new model on the 75% are made of carbon fiber. Many parts are manufactured as one-piece components that combine greater tightness with less weight. The Huracan STO weighs 1339kg, 43kg less than the Performante version.
Performance worthy of the Lamborghini Squadra Corse
As soon as the engine of the Super Trofeo Omologata is started, there is a sound that undoubtedly confirms the sporty personality of the model. This is thanks to a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 developing 640 hp. and 565 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The Huracàn STO accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds, from 0 to 200 km/h in 9 seconds and has a top speed of 310 km/h. Three new driving modes - STO, Trofeo and Pioggia - allow you to take full advantage of the model's sportiness.
Helping, among other things, is a new braking system that uses Brembo CCM-R carbon-ceramic discs known from Formula 1. This solution provides, among other things, higher strength, four times the thermal conductivity of traditional carbon-ceramic discs, and a total of 25% more maximum torque force.
Tailored to your unique needs
Owners of the Lamborghini Huracan STO will be able to personalize the interior and exterior of their vehicles with the Ad Personam program, which offers a variety of paint, trim and vinyl combinations.
“Adjusting the aesthetics of a model to taste is extremely important for our customers, who value the opportunity to express their lifestyle,” says Piotr Jendrach, director of Lamborghini Warsaw. — The premiere of the model and confirmation of its inclusion in the Ad Personam program aroused considerable interest. Within 24 hours of the release of the Huracan STO, we received seven requests from Russian customers to purchase a copy. This confirms the position of our country as one of the ten most important markets for the brand.
Prices for the Lamborghini Huracan STO start at €249,412. Delivery of the first copies is scheduled to begin in March 2021.
