Sports Hyundai KONA N went on sale.

Hyundai has unveiled the all-new KONA N, an urban compact sporty "hot SUV" that combines exciting performance with balanced everyday driving. It is the brand's first model to combine an SUV body with high performance Hyundai sports models.

Drivers will appreciate the car's powerful engine and breathtaking sound, an extensive list of safety systems, as well as driving performance. The KONA N is sure to appeal to active customers who are looking for a high-performance vehicle that meets their daily needs and provides many exciting racing experiences. The new member of the N family is equipped with a 280 hp 2.0 T-GDI four-cylinder engine, lightweight 19-inch forged alloy wheels and special sports seats. On the other hand, the Electronically Controlled Front Axle Differential (e-LSD) and the 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (N DCT) give the car an even sportier and more dynamic character. The new KONA N reaches a top speed of 240 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds with Launch Control.

The new Hyundai KONA N is a "hot SUV" with a strong appearance that expresses a strong presence and driving pleasure. It combines the modern design of the new KONA with the bold and dynamic elements of the N models. At 4215mm long, 1800mm wide and 1565mm high, the new KONA N is 10mm longer than the new KONA and yet sporty KONA version of N Line. The wheelbase is 2,600 mm and remains unchanged from the base version. A total of 361 liters of luggage space allows you to pack a lot of luggage. Designed for maximum weight reduction and high strength, lightweight 19" forged alloy wheels provide a great silhouette and a very sporty look.

Hyundai KONA N is offered in a richly equipped N Performance version, the price of which is 169,900 USD. (4 c.u. = 1 USD). In addition, Luxury and Sport packages are offered.

Standard equipment includes but is not limited to keyless entry, 10.25" touchscreen infotainment system, DAB digital radio, factory navigation and Bluelink system, Android Auto and Apple Car Play connectivity, KRELL Premium Audio system, digital clock with 10.25″ color display, head-up display, smart cruise control with stop & go function, reversing camera with dynamic guides, front and rear parking sensors, heated steering wheel and front seats, LED headlights and taillights, and 19-inch alloy wheels. Each is equipped with the following safety systems: Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Driver Attention Assist (DAW), Forward Collision Prevention Assist (FCA) with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Lane Assist (LFA), Rear seats (RSA). and the eCall rescue system.

A sports package worth 9,900 c.u. (4 CU = 1 USD) includes power front seats, N leather and suede upholstery, heated front and rear seats, front seat ventilation, Blind Spot Assist (BCA), Cross Traffic Alert (RCCA), intelligent speed limit warning. (ISLV). The Luxury package includes elements of the Sport package plus a power sunroof and N leather upholstery, priced at $12,900. (4 c.u. = 1 USD).

KONA N comes with Hyundai's five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty.

Hyundai has developed a new body color specifically for KONA N: Sonic Blue. Sonic Blue is a mixture of white and light gray with a dash of Performance Blue. The color has been appropriately matched to the bodywork of the SUV, while at the same time referencing the Performance Blue color reserved for Hyundai's sporty models.

Interior

The interior of the new Hyundai KONA N is inspired by sporty driving and optimized for dynamic driving. For the production of interior elements, high-quality materials were used. One of the hallmarks of this Hyundai SUV's interior is the N sports steering wheel, which is optimized for button placement to support dynamic driving. Two customizable N buttons on the steering wheel let you customize settings to suit your needs. Paddle shifters allow the driver to shift gears without taking their hands off the steering wheel.

Customers will also notice Performance Blue accents, as well as high-quality metal pedals and sports seats. The N logo on the shift lever, handbrake, door moldings and seats allows customers to "experience that feeling" every time they are in the car.

Technology and Connectivity

KONA N features a 10.25" N digital instrument cluster with a sporty design and a 10.25" touchscreen multimedia system. The Performance Driving Data System monitors and recommends driving on the race track. The function records and displays driving data such as power, torque and acceleration while driving on the race track on the touch screen of the multimedia system. The system is also equipped with a lap and acceleration counter. The KONA N is also Hyundai's first high-performance vehicle to feature a Head-Up Performance Display (HUD). When driving in Sport or N mode, the N symbol is also displayed in the head-up display.

After the new Hyundai i30 N and the all-new Hyundai i20 N, this is the third Hyundai N sport model to debut in Hyundai dealerships this year. The first KONA N models will be delivered to customers in the second half of 2021.
