Defects have also been found in class c (BR 205), glc (BR 253) and electric vehicles (BR 293) vehicles. On the vehicles, the steering system turned out to be faulty, namely the wiring harness of the steering control module. Installing the wrong seat belt can cause the electric power steering to fail, which can increase the risk of an accident.

The problem also applies to the Sprinter (type 907/910). Vehicles made in Germany may have brake hose leaks and brake fluid leaks. If this happens, the stopping distance will increase, and it will be more difficult to keep the car in the lane. The fault affected about 300 vehicles. Their owners will be called to an authorized service center where the necessary repairs will be carried out.

Promotion on Toyota services

On Toyota ProAce vehicles manufactured in France from 07/10/2016 to 04/27/2019, premature timing belt wear is possible. This could damage the engine. If this happens while driving, the engine may stall, increasing the risk of a collision.

The repair campaign covers more than 800 vehicles in Russia. The company said owners of affected vehicles will be taken to authorized service stations to seal the timing cover and replace the timing belt, crankshaft and camshaft gears, and high pressure fuel pump.

Opel brand service campaign

Opel has informed the President of the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection that the OPEL Corsa F RM 2020 produced in Spain may have an incorrect wheel offset value on the certificate of conformity, i.e. ET32 instead of ET38. Installing rims with the wrong offset can cause tire to body contact, resulting in loss of vehicle control and increased risk of an accident.

The company offers owners of cars covered by the promotion to contact the selected authorized service to replace the certificate of conformity (if the owner has it). If the owner of the vehicle has already purchased rims with the wrong offset, they will be offered a refund or replacement of rims with the correct size.

Volvo Service Action

On 2021 model year Volvo models: V60, V60CC, V90, V90CC, XC60 and XC90, the SRS (Supplementary Restraint System) control unit may not be correctly attached to the vehicle body, which means the system will not function in an accident, increasing the risk of injury .

The company will notify the owners of such vehicles to contact an authorized Volvo workshop to check the fastening of the SRS control unit and, if necessary, tighten the fastening bolts.

Fiat service promotion

In Fiat 500 BEW vehicles, due to incorrect software of the airbag control unit, an indication of the activation or deactivation of the passenger airbag installed by the driver, which is not intended by the program, may occur. Misreading may increase the risk of injury to the occupant in a collision or accident.

Very few cars participate in the repair campaign. The company said that car owners will be invited by letters to authorized service centers to reprogram the airbag control unit.

Chrysler Service Promotion

On 2008-2010 (RT) Chrysler Town & Country (RT) vehicles manufactured in the USA, the emblem on the driver's airbag housing may become loose or come off. In the event of an airbag inflating collision, the emblem may deploy with great force, injuring occupants.

The repair campaign covers several thousand vehicles. The company said that car owners will be invited by letters to authorized service stations to remove the emblem and replace it.
