DS 9 - changes for the 2023 model year

The 2023 model year will bring changes to the DS 9 model with the introduction of the DS IRIS SYSTEM, a new DS Automobiles infotainment system and new interior trim.

DS 9 models are currently offered with two types of plug-in hybrid powertrains: E-TENSE 250 and E-TENSE 4x4 360, as well as prices in Russia range from 308,200 to 387,500 USD. (4 c.u. = 1 USD).

New multimedia system DS IRIS SYSTEM

In addition to the new DS 9 instrument cluster, the MY 23 is equipped with the new DS IRIS SYSTEM multimedia system. This solution has a brand new, responsive and fluid interface, fully customizable and personalizable, supported by Natural Speech Recognition - IRIS. A widget-driven menu on a 12-inch high-resolution touchscreen gives you one-touch access to all connected 3D navigation, air conditioning and digital audio features, as well as managing all your trip data. The screen, which is very easy to use, provides a 360° view thanks to new high-definition digital cameras and provides access to Mirror Screen, CarPlay and Android Auto via Wi-Fi or USB Type-C.

Connected navigation helps the driver choose the best route. It monitors road conditions and calculates the best routes in real time. In addition, the screen displays dangerous places, speed checks (depending on country regulations), weather forecast, location and prices of gas stations, as well as the location of public parking lots and charging points. In the case of ground parking, DS IRIS SYSTEM displays the probability of finding a parking space on certain streets of large cities. All updates are performed automatically.

DS IRIS SYSTEM is connected to the MyDS mobile application, which allows you to send destinations from your smartphone to the DS 9 screen, schedule a warm-up or pre-cooling of the car interior, charge the battery, check the battery level, read previous trips, receive proactive service alerts, use digital remote control to lock and unlock doors, turn on the light or activate the horn.

New interior decoration OPERA

The DS 9 range includes three trim levels: RIVOLI+, OPERA and the ESPRIT DE VOYAGE collection.

The RIVOLI+ version exudes elegance and sophistication. Another new feature of the DS 9 MY 23 is the Alcantara® headlining in Gris Galet Gray, which adds a subdued sheen to the interior.

ESPRIT DE VOYAGE collection - exceptional craftsmanship

The ESPRIT DE VOYAGE collection is featured in the DS 9 MY 23 model range. Following the example of haute couture fashion houses and in the spirit of the French art of travel, DS Automobiles vehicles are characterized by exceptional sophistication, manifested in the interior with exclusive light leather.

Vibrant colors illuminate the interior: the seats are upholstered in Gris Perle Gray Nappa leather with a finish reminiscent of a luxury watch bracelet. The center console, instrument panel and door panels are also upholstered in Gris Pearl Nappa leather.

The ceiling is completely covered with Alcantara® in the color Gris Galet. The door armrests, on the other hand, are finished in Gris Pearl, as are the front and rear floor mats, which are further embellished with special Zephir stitching.

Beneath the center screen is a hot-embossed Gris Perle Nappa leather panel using a technique developed by the artisans at DS Automobiles to further highlight this original theme. Clou de Paris, the iconic guilloche pattern of Parisian watchmakers, marks the location of DS DESIGN STUDIO PARIS, whose rays diverge to form a map of Europe. On the outside, the E-TENSE 250 version features new 19-inch CHAMBORD wheels with Gris Anthra matt finish. The E-TENSE 4×4 360 version retains 20-inch MUNICH wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

The DS 9 MY 23 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE is available in four colors: Cristal Pearl, Midnight Blue, Platinum Gray and Perla Nera Black. In Russia DS 9 ESPRIT DE VOYAGE is available for $341,900. Fully hybrid plug-in engines up to 360 hp

DS 9 MY 23 is a 100% plug-in hybrid model offered in two versions: 250 hp or 360 hp with all-wheel drive.

The DS 9 MY 23 E-TENSE 4×4 360 is equipped with a drive for the most demanding: 200 hp 4-cylinder petrol engine. and two electric motors - one 110 hp. (front, integrated with the gearbox), and the other with 113 hp. (connected to the rear axle). It is connected to an intelligent all-wheel drive gearbox. The 15.6 kWh battery adopts advanced energy management techniques to store energy to meet different needs.

The top speed of the DS 9 MY 23 E-TENSE 4×4 360 is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The car can reach speeds of up to 140 km/h using only electricity. It takes 5.6 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h and 25.4 seconds to cover 1000 meters from a standstill.

In zero emission mode, the DS 9 MY 23 E-TENSE 4x4 360 covers a distance of 65 kilometers on the WLTP city cycle or 62 kilometers on the WLTP combined cycle. Fuel consumption is limited to 1.5 liters per 100 km and homologated CO2 emissions are 35 g/km according to the WLTP cycle.

The DS 9 E-TENSE 250 is powered by a 200 hp PureTech 4-cylinder engine assisted by an 80 kW (110 hp) electric drive. The 15.6 kWh battery provides a range of up to 84 kilometers on the urban WLTP (urban electric equivalent range - a category used for tax purposes) or up to 74 kilometers on the combined WLTP cycle. The 7.4 kW on-board charger charges the battery from 0 to 100% capacity in 2 hours and 23 minutes.

CO2 emissions are reduced to 22 g/km with a homologated fuel consumption of 1.0 l/100 km in the WLTP combined cycle.
