Toyota Trailhunter Concept at SEMA 2022
Toyota unveiled the Trailhunter Concept pickup truck prototype at SEMA 2022 in Las Vegas. This is the announcement of a new line of SUVs adapted for long-distance travel away from civilization. SEMA is the most important auto modification and tuning show in the US market, attracting many off-road enthusiasts every year.

The Trailhunter Concept Pickup shows what the new lineup of factory-built SUVs could look like, soon to be available with accessories and accessories at authorized Toyota dealers in the US. The Trailhunter line is designed for overlanding - long off-road trips, where the car should be as self-sufficient as possible for travelers.
Debuting at the 2022 Specialty Equipment Market Association Show (SEMA) in Las Vegas, the car received suspension and bumpers adapted for long-distance off-road driving, as well as new underbody protection, a roof rack, additional lighting, a refrigerator, a tent on roof and other accessories.
Trailhunter models combine the durability and reliability that Toyota SUVs are known for with enhanced off-road capability and vehicle damage protection in challenging environments. Cars also have a greater carrying capacity and have received many functional solutions that make it easier to store equipment and access it while traveling.
The authors of the project took into account both camping equipment and household items, as well as spare parts and tools - everything you need to function far from civilization, without access to the mains, shops or auto repair shops.
“Trailhunter SUVs will be factory-equipped with parts and accessories that will enable you to comfortably travel through difficult terrain,” said Lisa Materazzo, vice president of marketing at Toyota. “These will be the most advanced cross-country vehicles that can be purchased from an authorized dealer. Toyota ATVs are known for the highest standards of quality, durability and reliability and therefore provide the perfect foundation for building an adventure vehicle.”
The Trailhunter line will include pickup trucks and SUVs from the American Toyota lineup.
Detailed information about it will be available next year. Each model will be designed from scratch by the brand's engineers, and the list of modifications and equipment will be based on the expectations of seasoned travelers and long-distance travel enthusiasts.
