The image of a typical Manhart rebuild, rooted in the minds of tuning enthusiasts, usually depicts a visually and technically extensive complete rebuild: large rims, often carbon fiber body accessories and of course, above all, a distinctive set of decal stickers and decorative stripes ensure that these cars are sure to attract attention.

Manhart has already done several conversions based on this scheme, from the MH3 600 to the MH3 GTR and MH4 GTR II. However, the attractive, extroverted look isn't for everyone, and Manhart Performance naturally has the right solution here too. Because components from the Manhart portfolio can, of course, also be selected individually or combined in any configuration, which highlights the MH4 600 shown here.

Subtle visual transformation

The coupe, based on the BMW G82 M4 Competition, is very thin only visually. For example, the mentioned decorative kit has been completely abolished, as well as the replacement of rims.

Instead, the car still sits on original BMW wheels: M Performance Parts' Styling 1000 M forged wheels, finished in bright matt gold bronze, measure 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear. The carbon front spoiler and carbon side skirts also belong to the same series.

The distinctive grille inserts, side fender inserts and rear diffuser, also made of carbon fiber, are from the Manhart range. The interior of the sporty two-door model is also left in its already very attractive stock state with plenty of carbon fiber elements.

Maximum power and efficiency

As for optimizing the S58's 3.0-litre twin-turbo engine, Manhart Performance was able to unleash its energy: by installing an MHtronik auxiliary control unit, the simple six-cylinder engine was increased from the standard 510 hp. and 650 Nm to the outrageous 635 hp. and 780 Nm of maximum torque. This allows the MH4 600 to accelerate from zero to 200 km/h in just 10.5 seconds. The intermediate sprint from 100 to 200 km/h takes 6.42 seconds.

On the exhaust side, the BMW G82 Coupé is equipped with a stainless steel Manhart exhaust system. On the current model, it leads to four 100mm ceramic-coated tailpipes. Carbon coated tubing is available as an alternative. Choose Manhart Race tailpipes without catalytic converters or Manhart Sport tailpipes with 300-element GESI catalytic converters. However, like the OPF Delete replacement tubes with 200-cell HJS catalysts and OPF/GPF Deleter, both options are not TÜV approved and are therefore only for export outside of Germany.

When it comes to suspension optimization, the G82 M4 offers a choice between Manhart lowering using H&R springs or KW's Manhart Variant 4 coilover suspension. The result is not only a refined appearance, but also, especially in the latter case, significantly optimized driving dynamics. Last but not least, BMW's powerful carbon-ceramic braking system, which is factory-installed at an additional cost, remains unchanged.
