A beautiful station wagon from Audi is called Avant. Now they are also available with an electrified drive with zero local emissions. Following the electrified Audi A6 limousine, its station wagon, the Audi A6 Avant with plug-in hybrid drive (PHEV), enters the market. Thanks to intelligent drive control with predictive control strategy, the Audi A6 Avant 55 TFSI e quattro has a long range on electric power and is characterized by low fuel consumption and driving dynamics. The Audi A6 Avant PHEV has a wide range of standard equipment, including the S line exterior design package, Audi virtual cockpit, Matrix LED headlights, sport suspension as well as sport seats.

The Audi A6 Avant TFSI e quattro is a large all-rounder as a plug-in hybrid

Audi now offers the A6 Avant - the premium station wagon - a plug-in hybrid version. The new Audi A6 Avant 55 TFSI e quattro has a system output of 270 kW (367 hp) (combined fuel consumption in l/100 km: 2.1 - 1.9; combined electricity consumption in kWh/100 km: 18.1 -17.6, total CO2 emissions in g/km: 48 - 44). Its drive concept combines the advantages of a 2.0 TFSI combustion engine with 185 kW (252 hp) and a maximum torque of 370 Nm with those of an electric motor. The electric motor and clutch are integrated into the seven-speed S tronic automatic transmission, which uses Ultra technology to transfer torque to the quattro drive. In this way, the Audi A6 Avant PHEV receives efficient and always available all-wheel drive with high grip and dynamics. The system torque of 500 Nm reaches its maximum at 1250 rpm.

The range of the Audi A6 Avant 55 TFSI e quattro on the electric motor alone is a maximum of 51 km (according to the WLTP standard). The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds. Its top speed is 250 km/h - in purely electric mode, the top speed is limited to 135 km/h.

Autonomy - drive control and predictable operating strategy

The Audi PHEV drive concept is designed to enable customers to carry out most of their daily operations in electric driving mode and therefore with zero emissions. The driver can choose from three driving modes: "EV" for all-electric driving, "Hybrid" for an efficient combination of both types of drive, and "Hold" for energy savings available at all times.

In hybrid mode, the predictive strategy ensures maximum efficiency and maximum electric driving time. The strategy manages the powertrain in such a way that the last leg of the journey before reaching the destination can only be covered in electric mode - if necessary, the battery is pre-charged by the internal combustion engine. The Performance Forecasting Assistant takes care of carefully planning this stage of your journey. To do this, it uses a large amount of information obtained, in particular, from the navigation system, takes into account various traffic events, the driver's driving style and data received from vehicle sensors, cameras and radar. Plans drive management and decides how to restore.

Connected and convenient - charging equipment and charging management

Customers can use the myAudi app to manage charging and pre-ride cabin air conditioning. The air conditioning system works with a highly efficient heat pump that uses the waste heat from the electrical drive components. At public charging stations, customers can charge their 7.4kW plug-in hybrid using a standard Mode 3 cable. The Li-Ion battery can be charged in about 2.5 hours this way. The special Audi e-tron Charging Service card gives you access to more than 140,000 public charging stations in 24 European countries. The myAudi app has a route showing where these points are.

Predisposition to practicality - trunk volume of 405 liters and a flat floor inside

The lithium-ion battery, located at the rear of the vehicle, has a capacity of 14.1 kWh of energy. It has been installed in such a way that there is still a lot of easily accessible space in the luggage compartment. The standard trunk volume is 405 liters. The floor is flat, no steps. This means that even large and bulky items can be easily placed and transported in it. With the rear seat backrests folded down, the trunk volume increases to 1,435 liters.
