A few weeks before the debut of the first hybrid supercar, the Italian company Lamborghini is celebrating its famous naturally aspirated V12 engine with the introduction of the Invencible coupe and the Autentica roadster: two unique One-Off models that underline the brand's DNA and represent the pinnacle of Lamborghini's exceptional focus on personalization, involving from the very beginning client into creating models that are truly bespoke.

“The V12 engine is one of the pillars of our history and the success of our brand,” said Stefan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “As we move towards a new era of hybridization at the heart of our strategy, Lamborghini is offering to celebrate the naturally aspirated V12 engine with two unique vehicles that perfectly reflect our concept of excellence in customization.”

The two unique cars have been designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile as the quintessence of maximum creativity, using the V12 platform, reflecting the design elements that have contributed to the company's iconic fame, as well as being inspired by the sportiness of the track.

Invencible and Auténtica pay homage to Lamborghini design masterpieces: the Sesto Elemento, a tribute to lightness and motorsport with a large rear wing; Reventón with a unique aviation style; and the Veneno, which takes aerodynamic perfection to the extreme.

“We created two unique cars with their own unique character, inspired by racing days and a high-octane track,” said Mitya Borkert, head of design at Automobili Lamborghini. “They have been designed with maximum creativity by Lamborghini Centro Stile on the V12 platform. These unique designs build on our unique design DNA and once again take our design heritage to the next level.”

Both new cars feature the same carbon fiber monocoque as the Sant'Agata Bolognese-built Aventador, as well as a full carbon body that uses construction and technology proven by Lamborghini in motorsport. The impressive hood echoes the Essenza SCV12, as does the distinctive front splitter with vertical struts designed to maximize airflow management.

The hexagon, a familiar motif of modern Lamborghini, has been harmoniously yet clearly integrated into the vehicle's distinctive visual elements, starting with eye-catching front and rear lights, highlighted by innovative hexagonal LED lamps. On the hood, the air intakes are reminiscent of those of the Sesto Elemento, and the same elements are repeated in the central triple exhaust system with tips made from Inconel, a special high-performance steel alloy obtained from the aerospace industry.

The interiors of both vehicles are dominated by clean lines, with a minimalist instrument panel complemented by 3D printed hexagonal air vents and no console instrumentation to emphasize the lightness of the interior and focus on pure driving pleasure. The cabin itself is framed in carbon fiber, and a digital readout shows graphics dedicated to each car.

Lamborghini Invencible coupe

The Invencible coupe is characterized by a subtle contrast between a dominant shade of red and carbon-look elements enriched with red petals. The Rosso Efesto bodywork is complemented by carbon fiber side sills and door frames, as well as Rosso Mars colored brake calipers that sit behind the single nut wheels with carbon fiber fairings to ventilate the brake system. The classic scissor doors are adorned with two striking hexagonal tricolor symbols: a tribute to the Italian flag, which is reflected in the door panels as well as on the steering wheel.

The interior, in the same color as the exterior, contrasts with Rosso Alala leather and Nero Cosmus Alcantara, highlighted by personalized embroidery in the colors of Rosso Alala and Nero Ade. The instrument panel features the Lamborghini logo in Rosso Efesto, the same color as the gearshift paddles.

Lamborghini Authentic Roadster

In the same vein, while maintaining its truly unique character, the Auténtica Roadster features a Grigio Titans body color with Matt Black details and Giallo Auge paint: this color is repeated on the brake calipers and the main aerodynamic components. These include a front splitter and a sporty rear wing that optimizes aerodynamic load and is flanked by a pair of fins. The profile of the car is unique thanks to two domes with built-in roll bars inspired by old open-top racing. The open interior is adorned with elegant Giallo Taurus embroidery, contrasting Nero Ade leather upholstery and two-tone Alcantara Nero Cosmus and Grigio Octans.

Invencible and Auténtica are the latest Lamborghini cars to feature 6.5 liter 12-cylinder engine mounted longitudinally posterior (Longitudinal Posterior: "LP") prior to the transition to the hybrid era.

The last salute of the outgoing transmission Lamborghini V12 develops 780 hp and maximum torque of 720 Nm. at 6,750 rpm, mated to a seven-speed ISR transmission, all-wheel drive and Lamborghini's dynamic steering that controls all four wheels.
