Level 4 autonomous driving opens up a whole new world for the driver and passengers, where the steering wheel, pedals and displays can be hidden on demand. This transforms the vehicle interior into a spacious interior with unobstructed visibility and access to all functions of the holistic digital ecosystem in which the Audi grandsphere is integrated.

The concept car will be accompanied by current Audi models. For example, visitors can see the Audi RS e-tron GT, the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron and the Audi e-tron 55 quattro up close. In addition, the Audi RS 3 Sportback, which will debut at IAA Mobility 2021, will be on display there from 10 September.

The interactive 'journey2progress' introduces visitors to the values of Audi.

The House of Progress also launched Journey2Progress, an interactive journey game in which participants navigate through four themed stations representing the four core values of the Audi brand. At the Park Café, a group from Ingolstadt will discuss the topic of sustainability. Munich-based Audi Business Innovation GmbH will then present the digital services offered by the brand. At FC Bayern World, the third of four themed stations, the focus will be on the characteristics of the Audi brand, while at the Haus der Kunst art museum, its design. During the daily changing 'journey2progress', participants can not only learn all about the Audi brand, but also use QR codes to solve puzzles and win one of four exclusive grand prizes. These are: the chance to meet former alpine skier Felix Neureuther, accompany Bayern Munich and Robert Lewandowski on an away UEFA Champions League match, tour with influencers in the company of broadcaster Kai Pflaume, or look behind the scenes of design with Audi chief designer Mark Marek Lichte.

Autonomous driving: test drives in the closed car park Messe West

Attendees at IAA Mobility 2021 will experience first hand the practical benefits of autonomous driving. In the closed car park of Messe West, the AVP parking system will be demonstrated several times a day by experts from CARIAD, the automotive software subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group.
